The baby area is a self contained area to ensure that the little ones are able to develop fully and have access to a wide range of specialist’s toys and equipment, to encourage their learning and play.
There is a dedicated sleeping room where babies can dream without being disturbed by the other children who wish to keep on playing, babies can be seen through purpose built windows to allow supervision to take place, and they will also be regularly checked.
Parents will be given a daily record of what their child has taken part in during the day, this includes nappy changes, feed times and generally how they have spent their days.
Outdoors
Access to the outdoors is easily accessible from the baby area.
There is a huge outdoor area, which will allow your child to explore the natural world. Babies and young children will be encouraged to play with the older children but this will be done under supervision to ensure that all children have access to the play opportunities. This encourages social play, peer learning and responsibility.
Although we have set times for outdoor play for the younger ones, if the weather is suitable or the children want to play outdoors then out we go.
Children who have been out and have got wet or dirty will be cleaned and changed, it doesn’t matter how many times we change them, as long as they have chance to explore and learn from the outdoor environment and enjoy the time they are having.
